  Poor. Booked and reserved, round table by fireplace, for 6 for a birthday early evening meal (6.30pm). Upon arriving repeatedly told staff we had reserved round table but got shown to another table in another area - reserved table remained empty all evening. Food was poor - hunters chicken was not cooked to the right consistency (had visited week before when a friend ordered this dish). Had to chase staff for drinks/clear table etc.... Only 3 staff serving but they didn't seem able to cope with the few tables taken (nowhere near half full). Overall a poor experience. Won't be visiting again.

  Not really child friendly anymore. Food seems overpriced. But worryingly the grass area is littered with broken glass and plates, staff not bothered and said 'they might put up a sign'. Won't be returning, wasted opportunity to be great.

  Went here to see what it's like since it's reopened, and it was absolutely amazing! Great menu, service and food were fantastic, and the new decor scheme looks gorgeous. Nothing like the old pub, a great transformation bound to be a local favourite soon!
